National Leadership Forum
Each year ten students are selected by Drug Use Is Life Abuse to attend the National Leadership Forum sponsored by Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) The conference is generally held in February in the first full week of that month. The students selected must submit an essay to the Executive Director on why they feel this conference would be beneficial to them and how they would share their knowledge once they return. All submittals must include their name, age, grade in school and school of attendance. Essays must be received by the second Friday in December. (email to email@example.com) Late submittals will not be considered.
This four day CADCA National Leadership Forum conference enables students to learn more about the drug trends being experienced across the country. Additionally, the CADCA conference encourages students to share successes and programs that have had a positive impact on them. The cost for the conference is covered by Drug Use Is Life Abuse. Fees covered include airfare, room, and conference registration and ground transportation. Some cost will need to be incurred by the students including some meals and day trips. (Scholarships for ancillary cost are available on an individual basis.)
